Sam Milliken, Founder
Sam Milliken, an educator, started a teachers’ workshop center in 1973. The center was so well designed that he received requests to use the space for events. He then launched a successful catering business, Mansions Catering, becoming exclusive caterer at The Explorers Club. Sam acquired Manhattan Penthouse in 1992, ultimately one of his proudest achievements.
Monika Nemeth, Director of Catering
After graduating college in Budapest with a major in Hotel & Catering Management, Monika Nemeth organized conventions at Compexpo. She then worked at The Hungarian Pavilion 92 World EXPO in Sevilla, Spain. Monika immigrated to the United States in 1994 and was employed at The Downtown Athletic Club as Catering Director. Her friendly spirit, professionalism, and graciousness cements our company's virtues.
